chrome.storage.localAPI solely for the purpose of displaying your history within the Extension's popup interface. - Usage Data: We do not track your IP address, browser history, or usage patterns via analytics tools.
- Personal Identification: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
2. Permissions Explained
To function correctly, the Extension requires specific permissions. Here is why we need them:

Used to save your search history locally on your computer so you can review it later. You can clear this storage at any time using the "Clear History" button in the extension.
Host Permission (chatgpt.com)
The Extension injects a script into chatgpt.com tabs to detect when the AI performs a web search. This script runs only on this specific domain and does not access other websites.
3. Data Security & Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it.
- You can delete your history at any time via the extension's interface.
- If you uninstall the Extension, all locally stored data associated with it is automatically removed by the browser.
- We cannot access, decrypt, or recover your data because it never leaves your machine.
4. Third-Party Services
The Extension interacts with OpenAI's ChatGPT interface to provide its functionality. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. Please refer to OpenAI's own Privacy Policy regarding how they handle your data on their platform.
